Mr. Evans, an Atlanta area native, was raised in Marietta, Georgia.  He obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1986.  After working for two years for a consulting firm to the nuclear power industry, Mr. Evans entered the Georgia State University College of Law in 1988 and graduated in 1991.  He was active in both Moot Court and mock trial.  Mr. Evans was a member of Georgia State's Intrastate Moot Court competition team during his second year of law school and the team received the Best Brief Award.  In his third year, he was a member Georgia State's champion Intrastate Mock Trial team.  Mr. Evans was one of a dozen third year students invited to join the Bleckley Inn of Court as a student member.

Since joining Crim & Bassler, L.L.P. in 1991, Mr. Evans' practice has focused on civil litigation.  He has handled cases in every region of Georgia and has been lead counsel in over one hundred (100) jury trials throughout the state.  Mr. Evans has extensive experience in insurance defense and insurance based litigation.  Additionally, he has successfully prosecuted claims on behalf of clients injured through automobile collisions, medical negligence and nursing home negligence.  Mr. Evans was named a partner with the firm in 1995.
